Mighty Mights

Mighty Mights is designed for students aged 3-5. In these classes, we emphasize Focus, Self-Control, Discipline, Respect for self and others, and active and playful engagement, all through the framework of martial arts. MORE

Children’s Program

The children’s program is meant for students aged 6-11. In these classes, we hone the 5 life skills: Focus, Respect, Self-Control, Self-Confidence and Self-Discipline. To be certain, this is a martial art and children learn proper kicking, striking, throwing and grappling as a complete system; however, being Shaolin means these martial skills are used as the vehicle to teach the life skills. MORE

Young Adult / Adult

The General Orientation program is designed for ages 12 and older. In this program you learn the fundamentals of martial arts. We teach all ranges of combat from long range to close-quarters, employing all the techniques of ti (kicking), da (striking), shuai (trapping), and na (grappling). In learning Shaolin wing chun, you will gain an understanding of the original MMA. MORE

Qi Gong / Tai Chi

T’ai chi ch’uan or tàijíquán, often shortened to taiji or tai chi in English usage, and translates as “supreme ultimate fist.” It is an internal Chinese martial art practised for both its defense training and its health benefits. It is also typically practiced for a variety of other personal reasons: its hard and soft martial art technique, demonstration competitions, and longevity. Some of t’ai chi ch’uan’s training forms are especially known for being practiced with what most people would categorize as slow movement. MORE

Leadership

Leadership is a program by invitation only.  We have leadership programs for both children and adults. Those who show a uniquely strong work ethic and aptitude for the conceptual framework underlying Shaolin wing chun are potentially invited to learn the leadership curriculum where a knowledge base is taught to the student that is not available to those in the general program. As a result, we have extra classes specifically for these students, including personal training with Master Noaks himself. MORE

Wushu

Do you want to improve your stamina and physical prowess? Have you ever wanted to swing a staff or a sword through the air?  Then Wushu is for you!  In this program, the emphasis is on forms training. We teach the classic Shaolin forms and weapons that facilitate the development of the mental and physical skills for which the Shaolin monks are renowned.  A flying kick from a crouch, dropping into the splits and then coming right back up out of it all without stopping are just some of the things you can learn in this class. MORE

Tiger / Dragon

The Tiger/Dragon class is by appointment only. This class is for Adults in the General Orientation Program and up as well as Children who are in the Leadership Program. The focus of Tiger/Dragon training is to come in and work on the skills you have obtained in class. This is a class where you are free to experiment with what you have learned, and request assistance from other students and instructors if you need it. MORE

Sparring

Sparring class is where students take the tools and techniques they have learned in class and put them to use with safe and controlled live partner drills led by experienced instructors. In order to participate in sparring classes, you must have a full set of sparring gear, and have a yellow/white belt or higher ranking. MORE
